![]() ![]() Cryptotab doesn't do that as you are literally using your own hardware to mine, they are just playing the middlemen pretty much. It's not really cloud mining as cloud mining consists of you renting out somebody elses hardware and either using it to connect to a pool to mine a coin of your choice or just simply buying a share on what they are mining. They don't mine BTC with their browser, they mine monero using idle resources depending on what speed you have it set at, in the background monero is exchanged to BTC and returned to you as BTC, monero is mined with CPU's but recently i believe there is software that now enables you to use your GPU to mine it, i have mine set at max for example and it uses my CPU a lot more which I am fully aware of, they obviously take a fee which no ones how much it is, but that's fair since they are providing you a way to mine via their browser. If they have cloud access, why wouldn't they just mine it for themselves directly? What do they need customers for to claim the cloud mines? Only reason I can think is because they make more from the subscription than the miner makes from mining. This is with using my PC to mine, and my Phone with cloud boost.Īlso, the Cloud Mining thing doesn't make sense. And still my month is almost up already and I've only mined $10 worth of BTC. However I do try to keep up with it as much as I can on a daily basis. Now I may not enable the mining ASAP all the time so there are blocks of some hours that go missed. In my opinion it's a scam because we are not able to mine enough BTC to justify the cost of the "Cloud Mining Boost". I do believe it is a scam, however not in the manor you're describing. The only thing they should need is a wallet address. They cannot steal from your wallet unless you are giving them the keys or account info to access it.
